The first is a west coast unit. You can see about half of the fuel storage tank at the edge of the photo. JPG

TNO 616 (F-9m) with 8 units backs east from the shop lead across the Chaparral track to the east main crossing under the Olive street overpass to tie on to a west bound freight in the yard. The Olive street overpass consists a plate girder bridge with a wood plank road way across the tracks and wood trestle construction elsewhere. JPG
7 TNO 362 Diesel Shops
San Antonio
TNO 362 leaves the shops crosses over to the Chaparral track heading for the east end of the yards to tie on a east bound freight. You can see an ash can Mars light on a 240 class GP-9 above the F's. The shop lead from the crossover is a stub that ends at the overpass and serves a M of W and motor car shed. JPG
7A Diesel Shops Diesel Shops
San Antonio
A good view of the east end of the shops as there are no units on the shop tracks. SSW 811 (GP-20) heads an east bound freight to the yards. View is looking west from the Olive street overpass. JPG

9C1 SP 4060 Tower 121
San Antonio
Looking east in to the yard from Olive street overpass on 2-15-75 as a GP-20 crosses over from the east to the west main. The fuel racks are over the first box car. You can see the double 'S' curve needed to get to the Sears track. The mains here in a cut so the Sears track had to be elevated to be at floor level. Also look at the RS-11 making black smoke on the yard lead. JPG
9D Sears Spur
Track
Tower 121
San Antonio
This is a poor photo. I tried to take the shadow out of photo 9C1 to show the Sears spur and the retaining wall built from old telephone poles (I think) and wood planks with a hand railing on top. Note the ties are exposed. Also see photo 9C track and east side of Tower 121. JPG
10 SP 5161 East Yard
San Antonio
SP 5161 (ex TNO 251 - one of three RSD-15's the TNO had) is on the Chaparral track between Pine street and the fuel racks facing east. Photo is looking north. JPG
10A SP 1311 East Yard
San Antonio
Ex-TNO 82 (upgraded in 1971 to SP 1311) is on the yard lead near the fuel racks facing east. Photo is looking north. Is the conductor using a communication center or could this be a way to align the power switches without going through the tower? JPG
